Love Our Lurkers Day

Dear Readers, today is the Love Our Lurkers Day. This means that this blog post is for you, who read but never comment. Don't get me wrong. I think it is absolutely fine to read and not comment. So if you want to continue being a lurker, I don't mind. I am happy you read anyway.

Still it would be nice to hear from you. You don't have to say something clever or even nice but any kind of comment would be welcome.

I love writing and I love blogging and the fact that I know some of you are out there reading makes it all worthwhile. So, Dear Readers, take care and be well! And remember to be kind to yourself!

Oops, forgot to say that the original idea comes from dear Bonnie, at My Bottom Smarts. She is an inspiration and a mentor to all of us spanking bloggers.

Hi Janice

Nice to feel loved. And you know how much I like your stories even though I rarely post a comment. But I should do so more often.

So here's something a tad pretentious. The painter, Carel Weight, wrote of his work: "My pictures are primarily a relationship of figures to a setting. The narrative aspect of my painting is something that comes later, and in a way of its own accord."

I was reminded of that when I read 'Sweet Spanking'. Although I like a narrative driven tale ('Shocked' is one of my favourite stories of yours) I really enjoyed the way that the characters in 'Sweet Spanking' seem to be creating their own story rather than being fitted into someone else's. Just another trick of the trade, I know, but you pulled it off ever so well.

Thanks for that one, then, and all your others.

I read often, but comment rarely, um, I guess, never. Sometimes the reading is so complete there isn't anything else for me to say!

Dear Michael, in a way you hit the nail on the head. The people in that story lived in my mind before the story. Thanks.

Dear Mina, I am proud of having you as a reader and dear friend, lurking or not.

Dear Todd and Suzy, welcome onboard. I am glad you found me and I do hope you will find something to your liking here.

Dear Radha, that is one of the most brilliant excuses I have heard in a long time...chuckles. But, honestly, you don't have to comment, knowing that you read is enough. And be welcome!

Dear Greenwoman, thank you so much for stopping by.

Dear Hermione, good to hear from you. Thank you for the encouragement.

Dear Prefectdt, welcome and thank you for your comment. I first misspelled your name as Perfectdt...smiles.

Dear Marcus, and I enjoy writing, what a cracking combination. Thank you for letting me know.

Dear Antonio, slave fantasies are very nice, from my point of view too...smiles. I will return to it, trust me.

Dear Ofia, those are welcomed words of encouragement. I am glad that I am improving.

Dear Bonnie, you are such an inspiration, thank you for being out there and being so warm hearted and kind.

Dear Robin, I am glad you took the time but never forget, reading is more important than commenting...smiles.

Dear Dr. Ken, all my days are full of strange imagination, I can assure you. Thanks for stopping by.

Hugs to you all, Dear Readers.
